Originally from Burnaby, BC he obtained his undergraduate education at UBC and medical school at the University of Calgar. He was trained in Neurosurgery at UBC and following his training went into practice in Victoria. He is our longest standing division member with tremendous experience in managing neurosurgical disorders. Dr. Sun practices general neurosurgery with some specialty interest in neuro-oncology, pituitary surgery, facial pain, endoscopic approaches and contributes the the Adult Hydrocephalus Clinic.
